After working at places such as Saatchis, M&C Saatchi, W+K and Accenture, Matt and Rob set up Grand Union in 2000.
The ambition was - and remains - to bring together the best possible talent from the broadest possible spectrum of marketing talent. global digital leadership program
ABInbev is the world's largest brewer, with nearly 25% total market share and 14 of its 200 brands generating over $1 billion US a year in revenue.
The focus and importance of digital media for all ABInbev's brands has increased rapidly. In order to help accelerate digital integration and excellence across brands and countries, we developed the Digital Leadership Program. The DLP consists of four parts. At its core is the Digital Leadership Hub, a central resource of case studies, frameworks, best practice and guidelines. Supporting this are the annual Digital Leadership Awards, Digital Academy and Digital Innovation Lab.
The DLP was formally launched at ABInbev's HQ in St Louis in 2011 and is now being rolled out across the key global markets.
For Boots, we undertook a 14-month programme of work, redesigning and creating a new platform for Boots.com. We handled everything from developing the initial consumer proposition and business case, perfecting the UX and design right through to a hugely successful launch.
Within 11 workstreams, over 1,200 wireframes and a powerful new site redesign were delivered.
Numerous independent industry usability and customer research reviews have clearly demonstrated the impact this programme has made. Moreover, as part of the overall team, it won Retail Week’s Multi-channel Integration Project of the Year.

Twinings have been around for a long time – they are the oldest packaged goods brand in the world
But their latest campaign focuses on a particularly modern concept of time: the time we find to devote to ourselves in a busy world.
Our website activation for this provides cute interactive reasons for people to take 10 minutes out their days to “get back to” themselves with a nice cup of tea. It includes all sorts of diverting scenarios from 10 minutes pilates at your desk, to 10 minutes underwater with soothing angel fish.
Ever wanted to sound like a neutered hamster at a party? Now you can, by inhaling digital helium with just a couple of clicks of your phone or tablet. Our latest piece of work for Freeview has (allegedly) been created to support their current ‘How good is that?’ campaign, which features many branded helium balloons expressing the happiness of having such a fantastic service. But we all know that really, it's just a hell of a lot of fun for your phone…
